Gambia

The Gambia: the smallest nation in West Africa, completely surrounded by Senegal, with the exception of the point where the Gambia River flows into the Atlantic Ocean. In 1965, it gained independence from the British Empire. Its capital is Banjul, but the major urban agglomerations are Serekunda and Brikama. The country has a coastline full of beaches, a forest inland and the Gambia River surrounded by markets, fishermen and villages.
