Sahara expeditions have always been part of TransAfrica’s DNA.
During the Covid forced stop I decided to spent the all winter scouting the western part of the Sahara and North Africa, from Nouakchott to Tangier. Travelling with small groups, local guides and in solo, I have scouted new areas and returned to remote sites as Aoudaghost, where I hadn’t been for the last fifteen years.
The mission was to check, in first hand, new itineraries and the safety of these large regions
This winter of scouting has successfully completed decades of experience in the Sahara, started in 1975. TransAfrica and me are ready to share, with you, dear traveller, different but unique deep-desert life-experiences.
